The fabric is a special 18oz denim that allows rope dyeing by mixing indigo dye and natural indigo using a special method, using indigo dye, which is limited to hand dyeing in Kasane. The warp thread is an original hard twisted uneven thread, and the weft thread is a special, unique uneven thread that is a mixture of Japanese cotton "Samurai Cotton" grown in Japan. The neps and strong roughness of the Japanese cotton, which is characterized by short fibers, give it a rough look, but at the same time, the color is a rich, beautiful color unique to indigo that cannot be produced by indigo alone. Because it is rope dyed, you can expect a strong feel of the texture like indigo denim, but you can enjoy a gradual change compared to Samurai's standard indigo denim. In addition, the selvedge part also uses indigo + warp thread, and the color change of the selvedge thread is not to be missed. The buttons are indigo + silver drum buttons, and the pockets and back pockets are indigo + printed lining. The patch is designed to evoke the atmosphere of an indigo dyeing workshop. The design is based on the Yamato model, and the silhouette is a new, slightly slim straight cut.
