The Flat Head's Signature T-Shirt: The "THC Series"

The "THC Series" stands as the flagship line among The Flat Head's T-shirt offerings.
Distinguished by its unique neckline construction—a special stitching technique that is as visually striking as it is functional—and crafted from high-density fabric woven with an exceptionally tight gauge, this series boasts a rugged finish that resists losing its shape and is built to withstand years of wear.

Defined by its "slim fit" and "short length," this series represents the quintessential Flat Head T-shirt style. The fabric is knitted using machines from the 1960s known as "circular knitting machines." While these vintage machines are capable of producing fabric of consistently high quality, they have become exceedingly rare; moreover, the number of skilled craftsmen capable of maintaining them has dwindled to a mere handful. The THC series features a fabric woven from 14-count yarn—a particularly thick gauge. Knitting with such heavy yarn requires exceptionally durable needles; to achieve this, The Flat Head utilizes specialized needles imported from Germany to craft a garment body of exceptional toughness.

  • 100% Cotton
  • 9.3oz Japanese Tubular Knit Jersey
  • Specialized Stitching to Prevent Neckline Stretching: Triple-Stitched Collar
  • A Rare Circular Knitting Machine Still Existing in Japan
  • Made in Japan

Please note that the natural-colored body fabric may contain small black specks or streaks. These are remnants of the cotton plant's seed husks that become naturally embedded in the yarn during the spinning process; they are not defects or stains.
